Online Chat Support Manager

Job Description:

As the Online Chat Support Manager at eBay in Dubai, your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of online chat support representatives who assist customers with their inquiries and concerns. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the online chat support team, ensuring that they are providing excellent customer service and meeting performance metrics.

Responsibilities: - Manage and lead a team of online chat support representatives - Monitor chat conversations to ensure quality and compliance with company policies - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase efficiency - Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to management - Train and onboard new team members - Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and improve processes - Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - 5 years of experience in customer service or online chat support - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team - Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner - Resourceful and independent, able to make decisions and solve problems autonomously - Creativity and people management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and chat support software
