Job Description - Senior Manager - ITIL Service Management

Senior Manager - ITIL Service Management - 6-12 month contract - Abu Dhabi

Location: Onsite in Abu Dhabi working on a large scale transformation program

Contract: Initial 6 months but this is extendable

Salary: DOE

Start Date: ASAP (must be able to start in June onsite)

Overview:

  • Seeking an experienced Senior level ITIL IT Service Manager
  • Responsible for IT service delivery processes alignment with business needs and driving improvement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop/implement IT service management strategies based on ITIL
  • Define/maintain IT service catalog aligned with business requirements
  • Lead IT service transition ensuring seamless introduction of new services
  • Manage IT service operations including incident, problem, request, and event management
  • Establish/monitor KPIs for IT service effectiveness and efficiency
  • Conduct regular service reviews with stakeholders for improvement
  • Coordinate/manage IT change management process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality IT services
  • Foster a continuous service improvement culture
  • Provide leadership/guidance to IT service management team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Expert or ITIL 4 Managing Professional
  • Understanding of trading business (especially energy trading) preferred
  • Proven experience in IT service management focusing on ITIL
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management processes
  • Experience leading/managing IT service management teams
  • Proficient in IT service management tools and technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices

Additional Skills:

  • ITIL certifications and other relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma)
