Job Description

Selection of Fans, analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the requirements for ventilation fans. Calculate the size, capacity and power requirements of ventilation fans based on project specifications. Prepare accurate cost estimates for ventilation fans, including materials, labor, and equipment costs. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing for ventilation fans. Review and evaluate bids and proposals from suppliers and subcontractors for ventilation fans. Create detailed technical specifications and drawings for ventilation fan installations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating ventilation fans for construction projects. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to ventilation systems. Strong analytical and mathematical skills to accurately calculate fan capacities and power requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions for ventilation fan installations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
