Programme Manager - Technology

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to guide and manage the software development processes for our dynamic and innovative teams. As a leader dedicated to the principles of Agile and Scrum, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects remain on track, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can drive efficiency and effectiveness in our agile practices. 

Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings. 

• Ensure the Scrum framework is understood and followed by acting as a coach to team members on agile methodologies and practices. 

• Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlog. 

• Remove impediments to the team’s progress to optimal functionality and productivity. 

• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information. 

• Foster a collaborative culture and a team environment that embraces ownership, innovation, and continuous learning. 

• Lead and coordinate cross-team efforts to resolve delays and manage dependencies. 

• Implement and promote use of agile methodology metrics to drive continuous improvement. 

• Encourage agile leadership principles and behaviors throughout the organization. 

• Engage in long-term strategic planning with other organizational leaders. 

Job Description

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. 

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) designation is preferred. 

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master in a software development team. 

• Strong knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc. 

• Excellent skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. 

• Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey and articulate information. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. 

• Experience working with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
