Which Media Head of Events

Which Media is looking for a head of events to help drive its events business.

The successful candidate is likely to have experience of school admissions/marketing, with strong organisational & interpersonal skills. They should be a self-starter but looking to work within an excellent team. The candidate should have strong sales and negotiation competencies, even if they have never held a role with sales or buying in their job title.

Which Media is a small but growing company, and our employees are given considerable autonomy to manage their time. You will enjoy working autonomously and in many ways being your own boss. You will not be required to work in the office, and while a full time position, we are flexible with how and when you work.

Events is a new part of our business candidates should also have the desire to be a key player in the building of a strong, successful division. Along with a salary the candidate will be rewarded with business success.

The Head of Events will:

* Work alongside the founders of the company in determining Events strategy and forward direction. They will head the events business.

* Develop effective working relationship internally within Which Media and with external clients and stakeholders.

* Lead commercial discussions with active, potential clients

* Identify new products and commercial opportunities based on market feedback

* Lead sales and negotiations for all Which Media events

* Be very hands on, leading the project management of all Which Media events

* Understand and be able to harness the power of media and social media. Lead the marketing and awareness campaigns of all Which Media events

* Keep Which Media systems up to date, such as shared calendars, Monday.com

* Actively involve self in any school related meetings, forums and exhibitions.

* Attend meetings with the Which Media Team as/when required.

* Manage the budget of all Which Media events

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* The ability to become proficient in all applications used by Which Media

* A collegiate disposition, be a team player with leadership skills.

* A positive, can-do attitude, focussed on partner satisfaction.

* Diligence and organisational skills, be able to manage a budget, and report financially at the end of each event.

* Excel experience

* Presentation skills. Be able to prepare and provide stakeholders with feedback data and statistics on each event.
