What you'll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• As the General Accountant you will assist the Assistant Director of Finance in the supervision, training and oversight of the Finance team, month-end closing, production of monthly management accounts and analysis, and general ledger reconciliation.
• You will be responsible to provide support in the policing of adoption of appropriate working practices, based on Uniform System and IFRS.
• Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations and other government statutory reporting and requirements.
• You will have sound knowledge and experience on Residence Accounting Operations and understanding RERA regulations.
• To provide support to the Asst. Director of Finance in various business activities.
• The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of an General Accountant, but we’ll make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.

• You will possess high level of computer literacy: MS Office and other applications.
• Ideally you will hold a professional qualification or studying towards one: CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Our guests forge our legacy. Knowing and understanding them is our goal, valuing kindness over process.
• In a fast-moving world, we remain consistent and relevant, requiring flexibility from everyone on the team.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. Our General Accountant must feel comfortable communicating in this language. You will demonstrate ability to write clear, targeted and concise management information reports.
• You will have a relevant professional experience and working in a similar capacity for at least 2 years in the luxury hotels.
