Job Description - Acute Medicine Specialist / Consultant

About The Job SearchPlus HR is currently hiring for the position of Acute Medicine Specialist/Consultant. As an Acute Medicine Specialist/Consultant at SearchPlus HR, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with acute medical conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including consultants, emergency department staff, critical care specialists, and other medical specialists. Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions promptly and effectively
Manage in-patient medical cases and ensure appropriate care
Perform specialized procedures such as lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and pleural aspiration
Develop and implement patient care plans to optimize healthcare outcomes
Provide leadership and guidance within the acute medical unit
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices
Requirements
Medical degree and specialty qualification in Acute Medicine
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Acute Medicine Specialist/Consultant
Proficiency in using healthcare databases and applications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comprehensive knowledge of acute medical conditions, procedures, and diagnostics
