MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Monitor the quality and compliance of clinical documentation to prevent risk for the company

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Conduct clinical (IP and OP) documentation audits

2. Support the improvement of accuracy and quality of clinical documentation with relevant training to prevent risk

3. Support the Clinical and Funder Relations department with utilisation reporting activities

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: A Bachelor degree in nursing or allied health from an accredited institution

Desired: Bachelor degree in health information management, nursing or allied health Certification in clinical coding and clinical auditing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: 1-2 years coding experience in a hospital or insurance environment

Desired: 2-3 years or more coding experience in a hospital or insurance environment

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Basic medical terminology
  • Clinical coding and auditing
  • Healthcare regulator requirements and related rules
  • Knowledge of reimbursement models
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Presentation Skills
