Company Nurse

Nurse Company Job Desecription:

We are looking for a certified company nurse to provide basic healthcare services to our company's employees. The company nurse will be responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, assessing health risks, in addition to the prevention and treatment of resultant illness or injury.

Additionally, to promote good health among employees by assessing them at regular intervals, keeping health records for every employee, and maintaining good communication with company management regarding healthcare and safety.

Accountabilities:

· Providing immediate medical assistance and first aid treatment to employees who are injured or become ill on the job site.

· Collaborating with external healthcare professionals to facilitate specialized care for employees when needed.

· Identifying potential hazards and risks in the workplace and implementing measures to prevent injuries and accidents. This may involve conducting safety inspections, recommending safety improvements, and collaborating with safety professionals to develop risk mitigation strategies.

· Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.

· Create a clean, and comfortable sickbay area.

· Promote healthy eating and wellness programs.

· Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential.

· Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.

· Develop strategies to ensure maximum employee work input.

· Communicate with management on a regular basis.

· Maintaining and updating employee health records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Nursing school degree.

· Knowledge of emergency procedures, first aid, CPR and emergency equipment

· Working experience as a company or a regular nurse.

· Ability to work independently

· Prior experience in manufacturing/construction industry is preferred
