Job Description - Director of Business Development

JAHEZIYA is a leading provider of a vast spectrum of services ranging from firefighting and emergency response, capability based assessments, training and education services that play an integral role in highly specialized projects across the defense, security, government and healthcare sectors.

In addition, JAHEZIYA provide world-class project execution for complex systems engineering and integration, ICT and technical project management, and other advanced technology services and implementations for defense and civilian customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support CEO in setting up corporate strategic direction, vision and strategy, specific to Company Core Business lines.
  • Manage the translation of corporate vision and strategy into business development policies, directives, procedures, performance targets and operational plans to ensure its alignment with shareholders' vision and strategy.
  • Support CEO in communicating top-level decisions throughout the organization
  • Provide periodic reports and assessments to CEO on company's business strategy and periodically review company's overall strategy to ensure the organization anticipates and responds to changing business condition
  • Monitor & track partnerships, Opportunities and order-intake, establish KPIs and prepare reports and dashboards
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to measure effectiveness
  • Lead, manage and coordinate the Business Development function ,budget and resources.
  • Monitor the Business Development functions, goals, objectives, and programs.
  • and implement short-term, medium-term, and long-term business development plans for Company, clearly identifying its goals and measures required to achieve them.
  • Carry out SWOT analysis providing summaries about the organization's competitive environment, financial analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Constantly conduct market research, and analyze and evaluate industry trends. Keep track of the developments in HSE, Emergency Response, and Disaster Management.
  • Develop the existing business opportunities and explore new businesses through research, identification, and analysis of possible partnerships. Provide recommendations consistent with the goals of Company.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, follow up on business leads, and conclude them in line with approved Company's policies.
  • Plan, develop marketing strategies, and work with inputs from the Training Division to implement the right sales and marketing techniques
  • Work closely with the Company operations department to ensure the course/product portfolio is consistent with industry/client needs.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with government, business, industry, and other professional organizations

Experience & Qualifications

  • Master's degree or bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Industrial Fire Protection and Emergency Services, Fire and Rescue, Emergency Response Services, Project Management, Training and Consultancy
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in managerial position

  • Market analysis and research: Understanding the emergency services, training, and consultancy landscape, identifying market trends, and analyzing competitor strategies.
  • Strategic planning: Developing and executing successful business development plans aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities.
  • Financial modeling and forecasting: Projecting revenue, costs, and profitability for potential deals and initiatives.
  • New business development: Identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads to generate new sales opportunities across emergency services, training, and consultancy services.
  • Relationship building: Developing strong relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and key decision-makers.
  • Client understanding: Identifying client needs, pain points, and budget constraints to propose tailored solutions.
  • Value proposition communication: Articulating the unique value proposition of your emergency services, training, and consultancy offerings to resonate with clients.
  • Negotiation skills: Negotiating contracts and pricing terms that are beneficial for both your organization and the client.
