GCC Medical Associate Director Jobs in Dubai

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic guidance to building GCC cluster RD medical organisation, creating the cluster’s RD medical vision and ambition aligned with AZ GCC Vision 2030, working closely with the Medical Director.
• Creating cluster medical plan based on the Alexion Strategic Imperatives working closely with the MEA Shared Markets Regional Medical Lead and GCC RD Cross-functional Leaders.
• Building and providing leadership to a high-performing RD GCC medical team (including field medical) with demonstrated value and impact, nurture culture of mentoring and coaching of team members and integrate seamlessly work of medical team with RD cross-functional brand teams’ efforts.
• Leadership to building of AZ’s RD External TA leadership, advocacy and establishing enduring partnerships and collaborations with key medical institutions, clinics and research centres and thought leader networks across the GCC cluster

Job Requirements:

• MD, PharmD, or PhD in a scientific discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of medical affairs experience in the biopharma or biotechnology industry including a medical leadership position, with proven track record in rare disease therapeutic areas is highly preferred .
• Ability to understand and formulate plans in complex healthcare ecosystems
• Proven ability to effectively build partnerships, relationships and collaborate internally and externally.
