This position is primarily responsible for positively influencing customers’ prescribing behavior to achieve sales targets, develop territory and build strong customer relationships with the objective of maximizing sales volume and market share of designated products in a given territory in compliance with AZ CO.What you’ll do
Engage primary care healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients. Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in the territory Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the market, demographic, and managed market’s information relative to assigned sales territory Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc. Ensure excellent medical knowledge and promotional skills related to his/her disease area and productOnly applications based in UAE will be considered.
Essential for the role
Bachelors' degree in pharmaceutical science Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry Comprehensive understanding of the commercial pharmaceutical marketplace Multinational experience Proven Project Management skills Outstanding selling skills Expertise in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Planning and organization skills Impactful presentation skills Fluency in EnglishDesirable for the role
Previous experience in the CVRM therapy area is desirable. 2-5 years in pharmaceutical industryTranscript
The majority of my day is spent discussing my products with the customers that are on my call list and essentially talking to everyone in that office about the needs of their patients and how the products that I have to promote can help address those needs. And that's talking to everyone, from the front desk person all the way to the doctor and anyone in between who has a need to help a patient in the disease state that I promote. Generally, I make between 8 to 10 calls a day. Some of those are scheduled, some of them are not. I do have meetings where we go to prepare, either with new information, and sometimes those are on a national level, sometimes they're on a local level. Additionally, I'm a part of several different teams within our region, so I have meetings from time to time. Those are usually either at the beginning of the day or later in the day. And we do trainings. But generally speaking, each day, I spend the majority of my time talking to customers about why our products can help them meet the needs of their patients, that's the bulk of my day. And I love it 'cause I love that I'm somewhere different every day, but talking about great products and helping patients get the medications that they need.This job is no longer accepting applications.
