SearchPlus HR is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Medicine Specialist/Consultant to join our team. As an Acute Medicine Specialist/Consultant, you will work in our dynamic acute medical unit and provide comprehensive care to patients with various acute medical conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including consultants, emergency department staff, critical care specialists, and other medical specialists.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions promptly and effectively.
• Manage in-patient medical cases and ensure appropriate care.
• Perform specialized procedures such as lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and pleural aspiration.
• Develop and implement patient care pathways to optimize healthcare outcomes.
• Provide leadership and guidance within the acute medical unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices.

Requirements:

• Hold a medical degree and specialty qualification in Acute Medicine.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Acute Medicine Specialist/Consultant.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Proficiency in using healthcare databases and applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Comprehensive knowledge of acute medical conditions, procedures, and diagnostics.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
