Apt Resources is currently seeking a talented and experienced Duty Manager to join our client's team at a 4-star deluxe hotel. As the Duty Manager, you will oversee the hotel's daily operations, ensuring that all departments are running smoothly and guests are receiving high-quality service. You will also be responsible for handling any guest issues or complaints, as well as managing and supervising the hotel staff. This is a key leadership role that requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is provided to all guests
- Manage and supervise hotel staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Handle any guest complaints or issues, resolving them in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Assist with budgeting and financial management
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements - Previous experience as a Duty Manager or similar role in a hotel setting
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle and resolve guest complaints effectively
- Knowledge of hotel operations and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
