Responsibilities
• Preparing and posting daily revenue journals and distributing them to management. • Assisting the Financial Accountant during the monthly accounts process. • Reconciling banquet department revenue postings and reviewing No-Show reports. • Completing daily income audit batch and sending it for review and approval. • Preparing extension-wise telephone reports and submitting them for review. • Validating and uploading daily revenue and statistics journal into SUN. • Preparation and reconciliation of Municipality fees. • Maintaining records of revenue-related accruals and paid gift vouchers. • Ensuring SOPs are followed and variations are highlighted. • Handling bank deposits and maintaining cash float agreements. • Maintaining the Cash Receipt Journal spreadsheet and correcting cashiering transactions. • Collecting cash/check collections and depositing them in the hotel bank account. • Preparing and posting petty cash expenses in a timely manner. • Willingness to learn and assist other sections in finance.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field. • Polite and tactful communication style. • Fluent in English. • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
