Job Description - Training Officer - for a -Star Hotel

Apt Resources is seeking a Training Officer to join their client's team, a prestigious 4-Star hotel in Dubai. As a Training Officer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and conducting training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the hotel staff. You will be responsible for assessing training needs, designing effective training materials, delivering engaging training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the training programs. The Training Officer will work closely with various departments to identify training gaps and develop tailored training plans to address those needs. You will also be responsible for maintaining training records and providing regular reports on training activities to the hotel management. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Training Officer who is dedicated to promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the hotel. Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs by conducting thorough assessments and analysis
  • Design and develop training programs and materials that align with the hotel's goals and objectives
  • Coordinate and deliver engaging training sessions to employees at all levels
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop department-specific training plans
  • Maintain accurate training records and provide reports on training activities to the hotel management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development
  • Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
  • Provide coaching and support to employees to enhance their performance
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure the transfer of learning to the workplace
Requirements Education, Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experiences:
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience in the hotel industry and a proven record
  • Good communication skills (oral and written English) & interpersonal skills, and with training skills background
Competencies:
  • Have a good understanding of hotel department functions
  • Can implement training modules based on the training required
  • Excellent ability to deal with different nationalities
  • Excellent in PowerPoint presentation and reporting
  • Excellent in planning and organizing of training calendar to achieve results
