Commercial Project Manager and Commercial Sales Manager – UAE/Dubai

Join our Smart Infrastructure Energy & Performance Services business unit as the Commercial Project Manager and Commercial Sales Manager and help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.

Your Role –Challenging And Future-Oriented!

In this role you will be responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related tasks to contribute to the project success of Energy Performance Contracts in the UAE based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Another key role will be to fulfill the role as Commercial Sales Manager and focus on commercial aspects in the sales phase of projects related to Energy Performance contracts.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensures the compliance with the LoA guidelines for all commercial aspects.
  • Ensures all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities.
  • Supports the Project Manager that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
  • Actively communicates with customer's commercial representatives and manages solving of commercial issues.
  • Together with the PM proactively setting up a contract and claim management in the project, including involvement and cooperation with the assigned contract manager.
  • Supports the PM in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities – taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Supports Project Manager to select and involve partners / subcontractors.
  • Represents the project in the relevant decision boards internally and externally.
  • Review tenders, contracts, and other agreements to identify relevant risks
  • Closely working with relevant internal stakeholders, propose suitable risk mitigation measures
  • Lead the LOA process and prepare commercial calculations/documentation
  • Support offer preparation
  • Engage with customers in negotiations to represent commercial and legal aspects.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant internal processes and guidelines
  • Support the technical sales and back-end sales team for matters such as bank guarantees and insurance
  • Ad-hoc involvement in commercial project management (e.g. claim management, vendor negotiations) and sales reporting

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in commercial project execution or sales and contract management
  • Certified Commercial Project Manager
  • Additional 1 year intercultural working experience
  • Hands on experience with commercial & legal negotiations
  • Basic understanding of legal matters and concepts is required
  • Previous experience in project claim management is advantage
  • Ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders in an international environment with diversity
  • Commendable communication skills and relationship building ability
  • Able to work independently with high attention to details
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/Finance
