Reporting to the L&D Lead, the HR Supervisor is expected to support the training, contributes to designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating learning and performance improvement solutions to close performance gaps under general supervision, and support on third party governance framework to ensure the department is efficient from a vendor onboarding perspective. He/she is also expected to be a brand ambassador for Zurich Middle East.

Job Accountabilities

As the HR Supervisor, your role will involve:

  • Providing administrative support to ensure the Learning & Development programs runs smoothly, such as:
    • Coordinatingdata preparation and inputs into analysis to inform business decisions in accordance with training needs.
    • Support in monitoring the mandatory trainings and answer any system-related queries to ensure full compliance.
    • Managing the administrative planning and logistics of training initiatives which includes sharing training invitations with employees, collaborating with facilitators, tracking acceptance, room booking and etc
    • Support on adding, following up with vendor to ensure they are abiding by our third-party governance framework.
    • Support in registering employees for external trainings and follow up on any adjustments required.
    • Supporting the L&D lead in preparing training needs analysis as well as any management reports that shows training progress.
    • Based on the topic defines the best method and media to use to ensure the strongest didactic impact and combines this in a learning program.
    • Collecting attendance and feedback after virtual / face to face events, sharing the feedback and attendance reports with business learning teams
    • Support in the wellbeing event preparation as well as the HR department team building events.
    • Updatingtraining materials
    • Monitoring and update the professional study tracker regularly
    • Support the L&D lead in updating sharepoint site
  • Contributingto the development and implementation of HR policies and processes
  • Ensuringcompliance to Zurich’s governance and internal controls
  • Participatingand support in HR projects
  • Ad hoc support to the HRBPs.
  • Supporting with Emiratisation and the Tawteen portal as and when required
  • Monitoring, distributingand responding to inquiries in the HR mailbox.

Job Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll require:

  • UAE national with a family book
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or experience in Human Resources, specifically in L&D
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Fluent in English and Arabic language
  • Customer centric
  • Proactive
  • Strong organisation and problem solving skills
  • Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn and work in other areas of HR to manage peaks in the team’s workload and cover for colleagues as required
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Flexibility to changing environments and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
