Job Description - Human Resources Director

Role

The HR Director is dedicated to support the functions within the company and drive HR initiatives from a strategic and operational perspective.

This role works in true partnership with the business by fully understanding their business goals and strategies and supporting those via proactive HR practices. Working with the CHRO and the management of each company, you will agree and develop the HR strategy. You will develop a deep understanding of the business, identifying key areas where HR can support and introduce initiatives that add value, set the culture of the business, support the full employee lifecycle, provide an equitable business structure and sustainable business results.

Partnerships with Leadership Team

· Be an integral part of each company's leadership team and build relationships that position you as a trusted advisor.

· Partner with senior leaders to proactively drive people and talent agenda.

· Establish and maintain strong stakeholder and employee relationships at all levels reflecting a high trust in being an effective and neutral partner.

· Use HR data to provide insights on key themes such as structural integrity, recruitment, demographics etc., highlighting any issues and offering strategic solutions.

Talent acquisition

· Understand the market to identify key talent to attract to the business, conduct talent searches, monitoring, reporting and cost management

· Work in partnership with hiring managers and the leadership teams to add value to their recruitment, attraction and selection process.

· Input into resource planning with leadership teams and spot opportunities to move talent within the business and retain within the Group.

Talent development

· Work with the leadership team and CHRO to build the company's L&D strategy in line with the Business Objectives and talent development gaps.

· Be an advocate and driver to engage employees in online learning with platform-based solutions for career development and growth plans.

· Work with the wider HR Team to ensure induction, on boarding and exit processes are continually fit for purpose and in line with best possible employee experience.

· Facilitate training in the areas of performance coaching, career development, people management skills, well-being, coaching and mentoring, business and emotional intelligence, etc.

· Work with leadership teams to identify critical talent and work with managers to produce and implement career development and succession planning to ensure retention of HiPos and key talents to the business.

Culture

· Nurture the corporate culture through core values and behavioral competencies

· Lead coaching, mentoring and employee engagement across the companies under the group.

· Adapt and implement initiatives supporting a healthy workplace, employee wellbeing and a culture of Diversity, Engagement & Inclusion

· Manage end-to-end employee relations issues, working with legal, and using the People & Talent Advisor where appropriate. This will include (but is not limited to) restructuring, redundancies, settlement discussions, employee performance issues, mediation.

· Analyze and present the annual employee survey results in an engaging format compiling key themes and recommendations in line with company objectives.

· Lead on the performance coaching process providing training on process; training on conversations that produce meaningful career development and provide enhanced engagement with the process overall

Skills and Experience

· Proven experience in an HR role from within a dynamic, constantly evolving professional service, media, technology, creative or communications agency environment.

· Coaching and development focus
