Senior Executive - Human Capital - Emirati

Additionally, we manage iconic districts, including Business Bay, Dubai Land Residences, Jaddaf Waterfront, Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Studio City, Dubai Harbour, and more.

About the Role:

The role holder is responsible for working closely with the HC Manager in providing comprehensive employee relations services to the respective line departments in order to ensure the provision of a quality HR services and consistency in the implementation of HR policies. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the employee engagement and wellness efforts of DCM by developing and implementing the engagement & wellness program to drive productivity and engagement.

The overall responsibilities of this role:

Employee Relations

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Line Managers and employees on HR related areas such as company policies and procedures, thus ensuring consistency in policy implementation throughout the company.
  • Provide effective employee relations service to the line managers and employees ensuring that advice and/or counselling is given as appropriate through participation in disciplinary and grievance sessions to ensure equitable treatment of staff in line with policy, and that such matters are properly documented.
  • Prepare justified recommendations on disciplinary issues including cases for termination in compliance with policy and ensure consistent treatment of such cases through sound judgment and effective decision making.
  • Conduct exit interviews with employees on separation from the Company and monitor significant trends and highlight these to the relevant line managers with recommendations for corrective action. Carry out exit procedures, ensuring that employees are correctly advised on procedures evaluate and approve requests made by them to ensure consistency whilst ensuring that the company’s interests are protected at all times and that employee needs are achieved in line with company policy.
  • Liaise with the HC functions on a day-to-day basis in order to coordinate timely processing of all employee requests and grievances in line with the company policies and in managing, updating and maintaining employee personnel files and HRMS.

Employee Engagement

  • Collaborate with Senior Managers within the business and HC to identify key initiatives and events throughout the year to drive colleague engagement and support the development of desirable organizational culture which delivers high levels of employee satisfaction and increases retention rates.
  • Prepare a comprehensive plan and schedule including key initiatives like colleague events, recognition framework, and communication plan and ensure process implementation with accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness.
  • Develop the annual Wellness Calendar that provides a structured approach to the initiatives and programs planned for each year.

Event Planning and Execution

  • Plan, organize and implement various organizational events with Group Corporate Communication and Marketing such as Annual Gathering, Celebrations to mark special events etc.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Generate reports for management reporting as and when required in timely and accurate manner.

HC Department Support

  • Participate as a team member in HC based projects and contribute towards developing new HC products, improved processes and systems that will enable HC to be more customer service orientated and progressive.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have the below qualifications and experience:

  • Degree/bachelor’s in Human Resources
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR or a similar field
  • Good Communication skills in English.
  • People Oriented, emotionally intelligent team player with the ability to de-escalate situations patiently and effectively.
