Job Description - Senior Sales Specialist

Job summary
Assist in preparing Sales Plans aligned with approved strategies to ensure achievement of business sales targets for different products and services. Assist in monitoring and reporting on the performance of Investment and Business Development Offices of the Agencies on the execution of Sales Plans to ensure alignment with Commercial Sales Contract Governance.

Responsibilities
• Develop annual sales plans for various Products & Services in coordination with the Sales Team, Agencies and Sectors. • Identify study and propose new business ideas / projects through promotional plans, new product, and business developments in coordination with the Agencies to enhance strategic objectives. • Develop SLAs with Investment and Business Development offices to define the process of preparing and monitoring Sales Plans. • Liaise with the agencies as per set communication plan towards target setting and evaluation. • Monitor implementation of, and evaluate and recommend specific adjustments or corrective action towards implementation of the Annual Sales Plan. • Provide input for development of pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and partners. • Support in the research function to gather data that can be used to forecast sales & plans sales strategies • Support Commercial and Investment Department in DGEP activities and action plans for department development. • Assist in setting section KPIs aligned with departmental KPIs. • Fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant Corporate and government entities.
Requirements
• Bachelor/Masters in Business Administration from a recognized university. Preferable with Specialization in Sales & Marketing. • 8 years of experience in commercial services including sales planning & development for products & services. • Excellent knowledge of sales channel management, commercial activities, systems, procedures and international practices. • Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes • Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications. • Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing. • Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues • Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects. • Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints. • Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards. • Results-driven achiever with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation.
