Assistant Logistics Manager
Location: Dubai, AE The job holder will control supply chain costs, reduce in lead time to stores, manage obsolescent stock, increase stock turns/product sell through and ensure maximum on shelf availability. He/ She will develop clear logistics best practices and processes, and ensure these are communicated, and implemented across the GCC region in line with local requirements. Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders (e.g., suppliers, Logistics Service Providers, Brand Logistics, Buying, Finance, and Store Operations Managers) to effectively enable critical decision-making that will impact stock availability, freight warehouse and distribution costs and manage delivery lead times. A self-starter, with the ability to work independently Experience in negotiation (developing win-win solutions) and change management Understanding of Supply Chain Logistics Operations in multi country environment Change Management skills Excellent English communication skills (Strong Presentation Skills) Problem solving skills. Proactive and ability to work under pressure with minimum amount of supervision Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver information, results and coordination among different parties Competent is using MSOffice Tools and advanced SAP user
Education : Diploma/ Undergraduate Degree or equivalent (qualifications in SCM/Logistics ideal) Arabic speaker Analytical with high attention to detail Knowledge of Warehouse, Distribution, Customs & Cross Border Freight & 3PL Management Must have a minimum of 2 – 3 years of Supply Chain & Logistics management experience, retail preferred GCC logistics, customs clearance and warehouse experience Strong people relationship and management skills Must have the ability to create an environment where the People values are a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers Customer Focus Individual Accountability Continuous Improvement * Teamwork
