About the job Accounts Payable Assistant (Temp)

Our client is a subsidiary of a manufacturing company based in Japan since 1991. They are an Engineering Service Solutions providing maintenance for industrial pumps, machineries, and oil field equipments, servicing Japan, Europe, Asia, USA, and Middle East.

They are looking to hire a talented Accountant Payable Assistant for a 1-month temporary contract.

To provide the necessary accounting and finance support within the finance department, supporting regional business growth. The Accounts Payable (Temp) will be based in Dubai and have a reporting line to the Accounts Supervisor and Finance Manager for supporting the completion of the management accounts and meeting reporting deadlines.

• Complete and maintain purchase invoices, reports, and supplier payments on time 
• Reports on creditors
• Provide ad-hoc support for any AP-related needs in the KSA business 
• Monthly prepayments 
• Daily bank customer payments and expense payments 
• Cash flow file updates, where required
• Support in the Year-end audit analysis
• Set up new suppliers for accounting software
• Provide support in any other areas of the finance team where necessary and appropriate

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, or any relevant education
• At least 3 to 5 years experience in accounts payable in the UAE
• Fluency in Tagalog Language is preferred
• Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures
• proactive individual focused on system and reporting improvements
• Payroll experience is a plus
• Experience in preparation of balance sheet accounts
• Knowledgeable of relevant accounting software; Sage 50 would be desirable
• Accounting-related certification ie ACCA is an advantage but not a must
• Proficient in data entry and management

Job Location : Jebel Ali, Dubai - There is a bus service from IBN Battuta Metro Station to the office. 

Timings : Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm (with 30mins lunchbreak) | Fridays 8am to 2pm (No lunchbreak)
