Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Supervision:

1-Lead, mentor, and manage the mechanical maintenance team.

2-Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure the team's productivity.

3-Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback.

Maintenance Planning:

Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for machinery and equipment.

Schedule maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.

Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and quality standards.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose mechanical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.

Collaborate with the team to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly.

Safety and Compliance:

Promote and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the department.

Ensure that the team adheres to all safety and environmental standards.

Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Inventory Management:

Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.

Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary parts and supplies.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.

Generate reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for improving machinery performance and reliability.

Implement best practices and suggest process enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and supervision, preferably in a wood manufacturing or similar industrial environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards.

Proficiency in computer applications for maintenance management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
