HSE Technician

Hello,
We are looking out for 'HSE Technicians' role for leading oil and gas company.

Location - Abu Dhabi

Permanent Role

• Based in the UAE (preferrable)

The HSE Department are responsible for ensuring that a comprehensive management system is implemented, maintained and continually improved upon in accordance with Site Policies and Procedures.



Main Duties

• Supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the site's health, safety and environmental management system.
• Participating in accident, incident and near miss investigations.
• Taking the lead on new initiatives / Corporate campaigns to improve and develop the site health, safety and environmental culture.
• Supporting new starter inductions.
• Managing emergency arrangements onsite e.g. fire / fire drills, first aid, spillage, rescue from height, arranging training exercise etc.
  
  

Qualifications

• Qualified to a minimum NEBOSH Certificate level.
• Experience in a complex Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in Health, Safety & Environmental Management Systems.
• IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or similar is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
