The Official Institution Groups sits within the Financial Markets Global Research team. The primary function of the team is to provide rating advisory to the Bank’s sovereign and multilateral clients – workstream referred to as Sovereign Ratings Advisory (SRA) for the purpose of this Job Description. The SRA function provides Governments and select Multilateral clients with strategic advice on how to best manage their credit ratings and position their sovereign credit narrative with the three main credit ratings agencies (CRAs): S&P, Moody’s and Fitch. They team acts as a conduit between the sovereign / multilateral clients and the CRAs by facilitating various interactions throughout the year.
Deliver the SRA mandate across the following areas of engagement:
Lead the SRA mandate execution process and ensure delivery of high-quality work within timelinesDemonstration of adherence to the management principles for effective risk and control and the Group's fair accountability principlesContribute to a culture in which all stakeholders feel safe to raise concerns and risk and compliance matters are addressed
Understand and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the Groups policies, procedures and the Group Code of ConductEffectively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance mattersMitigation of risks and resolution of issues in a timely mannerAdherence to laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance policies and the Group Code of ConductCompletion of all mandatory risk and compliance training including e-learningEnsure compliance with applicable Group policies on sovereign ratings advisory, including continued alignment with the sovereign rating advisory PPG and the SRA Best Practices Paper

EDUCATION Bachelor degree in Banking or Finance preferred.TRAINING Relevant experience in banking or other relevant environmentLICENSES MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATIONS Risk & AML certified as stipulated by Bank policy
