About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Dockmaster to join the D-Marin. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: To perform daily mooring /berthing operations. To perform berthing operations at the sea and on land due to the instructions of the Senior Dockmaster and Dockmaster Supervisor. To communicate with customers and other team members in a representative and clear manner. To work in full coordination and cooperation with the Customer Care Agents. To fill in all required checklists. To make sure that no unauthorized person enters the yacht and pontoons. All suspicious, doubtful situations regarding safety of boats, safety of clients and safety of the marina to be checked always. All alarms must be treated as a true alarm and immediate information must be provided to superior managers. To check and provide support for the maintenance of a clean environmental situation either on land (car parking, dry berth, green grass, gardens, buildings, etc.) or at sea (water, quay wall, pontoons etc.) and to report in case of any risk foreseen. In a case if incident, pollution, emergency or accident dock handlers are obliged to inform executives immediately without delay, and act according to the instructions. To monitor the car parking areas for proper operations. Record all boat movements. Help technical team for the regular maintenance of the marina. Help clients with Golf Buggy and with workboats on their arrivals and departures. Collect garbage and clean the marina regularly. Carry out any other duties that may be required to operate the facility at marina as requested by the Supervisor or Marina Manager. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: High school Minimum 1 years of experience in similar positions (Marina or professional, seaman) Necessary health requirements to be fulfilled Advance knowledge of Finance/Accounting subjects Swimming Ability to drive boat / dinghy is preferable Driving license is preferable VHF usage license is preferable Attention to details About the Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
