Senior Manager - Hedge Funds and Public Markets

We are looking for a Senior Manager - Hedge Funds and Public Markets to join our Investments team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage hedge funds and public markets investments globally and locally.
• Support the global sourcing of fund investments (including hedge funds, developed markets equities, emerging markets equities and fixed income) through an extensive network of regional and global advisors and banking relationships.
• Evaluate prospective fund managers, including analysis of fund managers, track record evaluation, benchmarking, risk and attribution analyses, and understanding portfolio impact.
• Prepare and participate in due diligence meetings with fund managers.
• Create presentations based on analyses and research conducted on fund managers and provide recommendations on investment opportunities.
• Proactively support the day-to-day monitoring and analysis of existing external managers, peer universe, and relevant markets traded.
• Capture relevant data and provide an ongoing view of the funds and fund managers' performance, exposures, and risks.
• Provide regular updates to management to assess the investment performance. Prepare relevant reports to provide management with timely information for effective decision-making.
• Monitor and analyse market developments and market risk exposure on the investment portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business administration, or mathematics is required. A master's degree, MBA or CFA is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in finance will also be considered.
• A minimum of 3 to 7 years of work experience in fund selection (including hedge funds, developed markets equities, emerging markets equities and fixed income) at a leading fund of funds, asset manager, family office, sovereign wealth fund or investment bank.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
