POSITIONSUMMARY
Promote awareness of brand image internally andexternally. Use sales techniques that maximize revenue whilemaintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott. Communicate withpotential owners via telephone to set up preview packagesales/tours. Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedulepreview package sales/tours. Explain details and requirementsrelated to attending a sales presentation to potential owners.Verify that individuals meet eligibility requirements for previewpackage sales/tours prior to scheduling a tour for a Marriottvacation club property. Determine and give complimentaries toguests as gifts for their patronage (e.g. rewards points showtickets). Perform general office duties to support Sales &Marketing (e.g. filing sending emails typing faxing). Receiverecord and relay messages accurately completely andlegibly.
Assistmanagement in training evaluating counseling and motivating andcoaching employees; serve as a role model and first point ofcontact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policyprocess. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniformand personal appearance are clean and professional; maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information; protect the privacy andsecurity of guests and coworkers. Welcome and acknowledge allguests according to company standards; anticipate and addressguests service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speakwith others using clear and professional language; prepare andreview written documents accurately and completely; answertelephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintainpositive working relationships with others; support team to reachcommon goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns ofother employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations andstandards. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighingless than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma orG.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Atleast 1 year of related workexperience.
Supervisory Experience: Nosupervisory experience.
