ManageSupplier Subcontracts through specification, requisitioning, andfabrication in a manner that meets all the contract specifications,including N/E standard specifications, and such that equipment isdelivered on time or ahead of the project scheduled deliverydates.

Providetechnical customer support for activities from the start of theproject through delivery of equipment to thejobsite.

Providesupport to the Field Project Engineer as needed once equipmentstarts to deliver to thejobsite.

Maintaincustomer relationships through quality support while minimizingcosts and risk toN/E..

EssentialResponsibilities:

Reviewproject specific contracts and specifications to help providedirection to the team for non-standard requirements and to obtainall requirements needed to generate proper material and fabricationpurchasespecifications.

Requisition"free issued" materials in support of subcontractfabrication and develop technical specifications for subcontractedfabrication purchaseorders.

Assistin the development of new supplies and manage supplierrelationships in support of N/Es quality and costgoals.

Technicallyevaluate fabrication supplierproposals.

Managethe information flow between N/E and Supplier/Subcontractors toensure material and fabrication supply is correct and on time perthe projectschedule.

*ReviewN/E drawings, suppliers fabrication drawings, and suppliers monthlyfabrication schedule to ensure project requirements are met andwill meet our deliveryobligations.

Maintechnical contact to the Customer. Interface with N/E internaldepartments and suppliers to resolve technical and logistics issuesin a manner that facilitates the site schedule and minimizes N/Escost and risk for deliverydelays.

Coordinateand facilitate the initial Lessons Learned Meeting afterEngineering is complete to provide feedback for issues thatoccurred during project execution and to support necessaryimprovements to ourequipment.

Assistthe Field Project Engineer as needed during field erectionactivities.

Actas the backup to the Project Manager in his/herabsence.

RequiredKnowledge:

Good understanding ofengineering fundamentals and ability to read/analyze technicalengineering drawings. Basic understanding of costing and budgetingof projects. Good understanding of what constitutes a risk within aproject (cost andschedule)

RequiredSkills orAbilities:

Proficientin Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); advancedprogramming skills utilizing Excel aplus.

Possessgood written and verbal communicationskills.

Becapable of multi-tasking while maintaining taskpriorities.

FormalEducation:

Four-yearcollege education, B.S. inEngineering

Experience:

3-5 years of experience,preferred.

Travelapproximately 10-20% by plane or car on average, includinginternational travel as necessary. Ability to read, write, problemsolve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results;effective written and verbal communication isessential.

Requirements

1.Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability toread/analyze technical engineering drawings.

2. Solidunderstanding of costing and budgeting of projects and aunderstanding of what constitutes a risk within a project (cost andschedule).

3.Four-year college education, B.S. inEngineering

4.3-5 years ofexperience

5.Experience with HRSG (heat recovery steam generators) design andimplantation aplus

6.Knowledge of boiler equipment and limitations. aplus

7. Anunderstanding of heat recovery equipment design concepts and theinterdependency of components in a system. aplus
