HP is hiring aManaging Editor for a global, end-userapp. We’re looking for an individual with the provenability to lead a team developing and implementing editorialstrategies and campaigns to drive revenue through app engagement.If you thrive on new and dynamic challenges, are looking tospearhead innovative content strategies, and ideally have alreadygathered experience in a B2C digital environment, let’stalk!

As the ManagingEditor, you will use data insights and analytics,including monitoring industry trends and the competitive landscapeto develop and implement editorial processes/decisions and contentinitiatives. You and your team will collaborate with a variety ofinternal HP organizations to design and create outcome-focusedcampaigns and curate/create content and messages to fuel yourcampaigns. Your campaigns will drive weekly active users andrevenue generation by targeting the right customer, creating agreat customer experience. You will be responsible for organizingand maintaining comprehensive editorial calendars that align withcompany and business priorities & calendars, and ensuringdeadlines and goals are met.

KeyResponsibilities

• Shape the Vision: Develop andimplement global content strategy to drive engagement andmonetization while ensuring all content adheres to HP strategies,standards, and guidelines.
• Collaboration isKey: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to plan forbusiness, product, and marketingopportunities.
• Lead the Way: Manage and lead afocused team of campaign managers; oversee the creation of engagingand high-quality content and messages that drive Weekly/MonthlyActive Users (W/MAU), click-through, and revenuegeneration.
• Drive Global Success: Develop andimplement scalable, global processes to support the app’sgrowth and revenue.
• Understand the Industry:Monitor industry trends, analytics, and competitive landscape toinform content decisions.
• Lead with Data: Usedata insights and analytics to inform the way we curate, target,A/B test, and implement content.
  

Education AndExperience Required

• Four-year or Graduate Degree inMarketing, Communications, Journalism, or any other relateddiscipline or commensurate work experience or demonstratedcompetence.
• Typically has 10+ years ofjob-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience,preferably in Interactive marketing, online customer service, or arelated field.
• Experience managing an editorialcalendar

• Outstanding written and verbalcommunication skills, with meticulous attention todetail.
