GeneralResponsibilities:

As acompetent Registered Professional Engineer, the candidate performswork involving the application of all conventional aspects of HVAC,medical gas, and plumbing design engineering and supervision ofmulti-discipline teams of engineers and designers. The candidatewill be focused on healthcare and critical environments such aslabs and clean rooms. The candidate is responsible foradministering all phases of projects from proposal developmentthrough construction completion. The candidate has primaryresponsibility for budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, andspecification writing on a given project with the authority todirect, control, and monitor all activities on multiple projects ata time.

PositionRequirements

• 8+ years of engineering design andproject management experience
• Healthcare designexperience in the acute care setting
• Experienceand knowledge of the FGI Guidelines, NFPA-99, NEC requirements forbackup power for HVAC and medicalgases
• Comfortable and willing to presentcomplex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners andother staff
• Bachelors in MechanicalEngineering
• HCAI OR OSHPD codes, standards,PINS and CANS
  

PreferredSkills

PE license in Californiaor other certifications is aplus
