Hours:

Hiringfor first shift! Must be flexible to work Monday-Friday,8:00am-5:00pm (flexible hours)

• Onsite/Field role- MUST be local orwilling to commute to projects throughout MetroDetroit**
  

Musthaves:

• 3plus years of Surveyor or Survey Crew Chiefexperience
• Experience with ConstructionStaking/Layouts
• Experience withBoundary/Topographic Surveys
• Experience withLeica or Trimble Robotic Total Stations, laser scanners, GPS, andData Collectors
• Ability to review andunderstand civil construction and architectural plans andspecifications
• Possession of a valid driverslicense
  

JobDescription:

• Lay out grids, determining horizontaland vertical controls; prepare survey sites and remove necessaryobstacles, including debris, brush, tree limbs, etc. to perform thesurvey.
• Operate survey instruments such asrobotic total stations, data collectors, laser scanners, GPS, andother standard survey equipment to collect fielddata.
• Interpret construction plans, performnecessary calculations in the field, and perform constructionlayout.
• Create legible and accurate fieldnotes.
• Upload/Download data files andphotographs.
• Set up, maintain, and operate allfield survey equipment, vehicles, andsupplies.
• Perform all work in a safe andresponsible manner in accordance with the Health and SafetyPlan.
