3rd W/K Engineer for Dredger

• Assist the Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and auxiliary systems.
• Maintain an engineering watch in accordance with STCW requirements and company procedures.
• Monitor, operate, and maintain main engines, generators, pumps, compressors, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and routine inspections using the vessel's PMS.
• Troubleshoot machinery faults and report defects promptly to senior engineering officers.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, ISM Code, MARPOL, and relevant statutory regulations.
• Maintain accurate engine room logs, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory.
• Support dredging operations by ensuring continuous availability of propulsion, hydraulic, and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in bunkering, fuel transfer, machinery overhauls, and emergency response drills.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices within the engine room.
• Supervise and guide engine ratings during maintenance and operational activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer to support the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

STCW III/1 Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) Certificate of Competency or higher.

Experience on dredgers or other marine/offshore vessels is preferred.
