Account Manager Vehicle Inspection Services

About the Opportunity

Our client, an automotive technology and services business, is seeking an Account Manager to lead and grow its vehicle inspection services division.

This is a hands-on position combining inspection operations, team supervision, client relationship management and business development. The successful candidate will oversee inspectors deployed at client sites across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring consistent service quality while developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support vehicle inspectors across multiple client locations, including onboarding, training and performance management.
  
• Plan inspector schedules, coordinate appointments and allocate resources to meet client requirements and deadlines.
  
• Resolve operational, technical and client-related issues promptly.
  
• Ensure consistent use of the company’s inspection application and diagnostic tools.
  
• Maintain client-specific inspection standards, review reports and address quality issues through feedback and retraining.
  
• Manage client relationships, conduct service reviews and resolve complaints.
  
• Prepare reports covering inspection volumes, turnaround times, quality, productivity and service performance.
  
• Identify opportunities to expand inspection services with existing clients and new prospects.
  
• Support proposals, quotations, service scopes and commercial discussions.
  
• Assist with selected software client accounts, including onboarding, platform queries and ongoing support.
  
• Contribute to recruitment, process improvements, client implementations and occasional marketing projects.
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years’ experience in operations, account management or team supervision.
  
• Experience managing client relationships and preparing accurate client reports.
  
• Strong leadership, organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  
• Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify and follow up business opportunities.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  
• Ability to learn inspection applications, diagnostic tools and other business systems.
  
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the UAE and to Saudi Arabia.
  
• Flexibility to support client operating hours and occasional urgent requirements.
  

Advantageous Experience

• Automotive, vehicle inspection, remarketing, auction, fleet or leasing experience.
  
• Sales or business development exposure.
  
• Arabic language skills.
  
• A qualification in business, operations, automotive or a related discipline.
  
• Familiarity with AI tools for drafting, analysis and reporting.
