Accounting & Tax Coordinator - Dubai

We are looking for a passionate talent to build our regional financial foundation. The position will report directly to the Regional Head of Finance (MEINA) and will be based in our Dubai HQ.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Oversee end-to-end general ledger activities, month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring strict alignment with IFRS and local accounting standards;
• Act as the primary regional point of contact for all tax-related matters, coordinating with our external consultants the timely submission of VAT/Corporate Tax returns;
• Oversee Intercompany (IC) reconciliations with global HQ and manage the SAP Fixed Assets ledger (depreciation runs, asset capitalization for retail stores);
• Supervise, mentor, and review the outputs of the junior finance team members, championing a collaborative “one team” spirit;
• Lead external and internal audit processes across MEINA countries, support in preparing comprehensive financial documentation and statutory statements;
• Act as the primary point of contact for external tax advisors and statutory auditors; 
• Partner actively with the Regional Head of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and retail business development.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 5–7 years of robust experience in Accounting & Tax roles, preferably within the Luxury/Retail sector or a Big 4 auditing firm;
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional certifications (such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA) are considered a strong plus;
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of IFRS and Middle East tax regulations (specifically UAE Corporate Tax and VAT). High proficiency in MS Excel and solid experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Stealth);
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical mindset, extreme attention to detail, and the flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-paced, disruptive business environment;
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory
