POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounts Payable clerk is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying and paying invoices, supporting the accounting manager of the entity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices

· Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries

· Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos

· Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors

· Process payment of employee’s expenses claims via our software Concur

· Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be willing to do bookkeeping respecting basic accounting procedures

· Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Aptitude for numbers

· Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks

· No experience required
