Acute Medicine Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Acute Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients in acute settings, providing timely and effective care to improve patient outcomes.

As an Acute Medicine, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Your clinical expertise and decision-making skills will be essential in addressing complex medical cases promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with acute medical conditions promptly and effectively.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and use clinical judgment to guide patient management.
• Provide immediate care in emergency and critical situations to stabilize patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
• Contribute to clinical research, audits, and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Acute Medicine or an equivalent specialty.
• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an acute medical care setting.
• Excellent clinical skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and patient interactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
