Admin & Finance Accountant - Dubai

We are looking for a passionate talent to build our regional financial foundation. The position will report directly to the Regional Head of Finance (MEINA) and will be based in our Dubai HQ.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Receive, accurately verify, and code vendor invoices, retail-related expenses, and supplier bills into the corporate ERP system;
• Prepare and execute timely weekly and monthly payment runs via bank platforms, ensuring proper internal approvals and authorization compliance;
• Monitor customer/wholesale balances, allocate incoming payments, and follow up on aging receivables.
• Nurture positive relationships with local and international suppliers, performing regular statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies with empathy and efficiency;
• Support the senior finance team and the Regional Head of Finance during month-end closing procedures, actively contributing to accruals preparation and reporting;
• Maintain organized physical and digital financial archives, ensuring readiness for internal controls and audit requirements.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 3-5 years of operational experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, ideally within a dynamic retail or multinational environment in the UAE;
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field;
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, double-entry principles, and accounts payable processing workflows. Good command of MS Excel and familiarity with modern accounting software or ERPs;
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, a proactive attitude toward problem-solving, and a natural team-player spirit;
• Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory.
