Responsibilities:

AI & Legal Synergy:
Collaborate with IT and data teams to infuse AI into legal processes.
Utilize AI for contract scrutiny, predicting litigation trends, and enhancing legal research.
Centralized Legal Operations:
Serve as the nexus for legal affairs, interfacing with consultants and international teams to guarantee harmonized legal operations.
Leadership & Team Growth:
Mentor a multinational team of legal talents, spotlighting AI’s revolutionary role in legal paradigms.
Compliance & Policy Blueprinting:
Employ AI to monitor adherence to regional and international regulations, identifying and circumventing potential pitfalls.
Draft and implement global legal protocols to maintain consistent excellence.
AI-Augmented Contract Management:
Oversee the drafting, scrutiny, and automation of contracts through AI, aligning with Windmill’s objectives.
Business Entity Creation:
Support the foundation of global ventures, with an emphasis on legal conformity and optimized operations.
Dispute Handling & IP Safeguarding:
Navigate legal disagreements, collaborating with external entities, and offer counsel on IP protection, leveraging AI for strategic superiority.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations departments, imparting legal wisdom and ascertaining holistic legal adherence.
Requirements:

Juris Doctorate or its equivalent; Post-graduate or master’s qualification considered an asset.
5+ years in the legal domain, with a pronounced emphasis on global law; minimum 3 years of leadership in a multinational/digital venture backdrop.
A portfolio showcasing the application of AI in legal settings.
Proficiency in English; multilingual skills appreciated.
Established leadership skills, adeptness in distilling intricate concepts, and an agility suited to dynamic settings.
