AML Technical Support & Data Specialist in banking domain

We have an urgent requirement for AML Technical Support & Data Specialist  in banking domain is required for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi or Dubai ,UAE

Expertise in AML transaction monitoring, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Linux/Unix scripting, ETL & API integration, plus tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, and Postman---Must

Perform technical analysis, SQL/PLSQL development, ETL/API troubleshooting, SIT/UAT testing, production support, and incident management for AML systems.---MustEnsure reconciliations, defect fixes, SIT/UAT support, deployment readiness, RCA documentation, and structured handover to stabilize AML operations.--MustBanking Domain ---Must
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Analysis & Data Support • Analyze source-to-target data mappings for customer, account, transaction, KYC, risk, alert, and case data. • Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL queries, reconciliation scripts, data-quality checks, and controlled data fixes. • Troubleshoot ETL, file-transfer, API, database, and application-integration issues across upstream and downstream systems. Change Delivery & Testing • Support requirement analysis, impact assessment, SIT, UAT, regression testing, release validation, and post-deployment checks. • Prepare technical specifications, test evidence, deployment plans, rollback steps, operational procedures, and handover documents. • Coordinate with Compliance, IT operations, infrastructure, database, integration, cybersecurity, and vendor teams. Production Support & Operations • Provide L2/L3 technical support for AML transaction-monitoring and customer-risk platforms. • Monitor batch cycles, data feeds, alerts, cases, interfaces, application services, and database jobs. • Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and maintain incident documentation. • Support daily AML operations while ensuring availability, data completeness, SLA adherence, and controlled issue resolution. 
 Required Skills & ExperienceFunctional Skills

• Strong understanding of AML alerts, cases, scenarios, thresholds, customer risk, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting data flows.


• Requirements gathering and documentation


• Data analysis and source-to-target mapping

Technical Skills

• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including complex queries, procedures, performance troubleshooting, and data reconciliation. 


• Linux/Unix shell scripting, job scheduling, log analysis, secure file transfer, and batch-processing support. 


• Working knowledge of ETL, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and integration troubleshooting. 

Delivery & Support Tools 

• Testing and UAT coordination

ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Postman, and standard test-management or deployment tools. Required Experience / Knowledge Areas *Experienced AML technical specialist capable of independently supporting a business-critical banking AML platform in a high-volume production environment. The resource must combine strong application and database troubleshooting skills with practical knowledge of AML transaction monitoring, customer risk, data integration, batch processing, testing, controlled production changes, and audit-ready documentation.Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in banking, financial-crime compliance, or a similarly regulated financial-services environment. 


• Exposure to Oracle FCCM modules, including Transaction Monitoring, Enterprise Case Management, Customer Screening, or customer-risk assessment. 


• Knowledge of Python, data analytics, cloud platforms, containerized deployments, or CI/CD practices. 


• Familiarity with ITIL, change management, access controls, data privacy, operational resilience, and audit requirements. 

Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and documentation skills. Key Deliverables

• Complete assigned data analysis, reconciliations, defect fixes, integrations, and priority enhancements within agreed timelines. 


• Deliver SIT/UAT support, deployment readiness, production validation, and clear rollback procedures for approved changes. 


• Maintain current technical documentation, support runbooks, RCA records, data mappings, and knowledge-transfer materials. 


• Provide structured handover and knowledge transfer to permanent support resources before completion of the assignment.
