Key Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients before, during, and after surgery

- Monitor the patient's vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly

- Provide pre-operative consultations and post-operative care for pediatric patients

- Collaborate and work closely with surgeons and other medical team members to optimize patient outcomes

- Educate patients and their families about the risks and benefits of anesthesia and address any concerns they may have

- Keep detailed medical records and report any adverse reactions or complications

- Stay up-to-date on new anesthesia techniques, medications, and equipment

- Provide guidance and training to junior anesthesiology staff members

- Meet and exceed quality and safety standards set by the hospital and regulatory bodies

- Participate in academic and research activities as required

Qualifications:

- MBBS or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school

- Specialty training in Anesthesiology with a focus on pediatric patients

- Board certification or equivalent experience in Pediatrics Anesthesiology

- Valid medical license in Dubai or eligible for registration

- Minimum 5 years of post-training experience in an academic or hospital setting

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions quickly

- Passion for delivering high-quality and compassionate care to pediatric patients

- Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus

- Must have received a Western education or training.
