Application Specialist

Job Summary: The Academic Applications Specialist is
responsible for the support, maintenance, and enhancement of academic systems,
with a primary focus on the Ellucian Banner ERP platform. This role
collaborates with academic departments, IT teams, and administrative offices to
ensure the effective use of Banner modules related to student information,
academic records, financial aid, and course management.

Key Responsibilities:

•                     Lead and support the
implementation and optimization of Ellucian Banner SaaS solutions.

•                     Collaborate with
institutional stakeholders to assess business needs and align Banner
functionality accordingly.

•                     Provide expertise in one
or more Banner modules (e.g., Student, Finance, Financial Aid).

•                     Assist with data
migration, validation, and integration with third-party systems.

•                     Deliver training,
documentation, and post-go-live support to ensure client self-sufficiency.

•                     Troubleshoot and resolve
functional and technical issues in collaboration with Ellucian support teams.

•                     Stay current with
Ellucian SaaS updates and enhancements to advise clients on new features and
improvements.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

•                     Collaborate with
institutional stakeholders to assess business needs and align with Student
Information System (SIS) functionality accordingly.

•                     Provide expertise in one
or more Banner modules (e.g., Student, Finance, Financial Aid).

•                     Assist with data
migration, validation, and integration with third-party systems.

•                     Deliver training,
documentation, and post-go-live support to ensure that the business runs
smoothly.

•                     Troubleshoot and resolve
functional and technical issues in collaboration with Ellucian support teams.

•                     5+ years of experience
with Ellucian Banner, including at least 1 year in a SaaS/cloud-hosted
environment.

•                     Deep understanding of
higher education business processes and how they map to Banner functionality.

•                     Experience with Ellucian
Ethos, Degree Works, or other Ellucian ecosystem tools.

•                     Prior consulting
experience or work with Ellucian Professional Services.
