KOBusiness Solutions is a family-owned staffing agency proud to workwith a manufacturing company in Elk Grove Village, IL who isseeking a Quality Engineer to join their team.TheQuality Engineer will support the Quality Management System (QMS)to ensure compliance with Aerospace & Defensespecifications and companyrequirements.

• Provideengineering support to optimize workflows and troubleshootproblems.
  
• Interfacewith internal and external stakeholders to meet company goals andcustomerrequirements.
  
• Ensureadherence to company policies and procedures to support andmaintain AS9100 and Nadcapcompliance.
  
• Participatein process improvement activities within a team-basedenvironment.
  
• Developand maintain processmetrics.
  
• Performinternalaudits.
  
• Collaboratewith customers and suppliers on qualityissues
  
• Supportroot cause analysis and the development of corrective actionsadministering training asnecessary
  
• Analyzenon-conformance trends to evaluate the effectiveness of correctiveactions.
  
• Participatein ongoing training, periodic testing, and performanceevaluations.
  

• Engineering/ technical degree or equivalent experience required.
  
• Workingknowledge of Six Sigma methodology, Lean manufacturing principles,and continuous improvement tools. ASQ certification preferred.
  
• Hands-onexperience within a production or manufacturing environment.Special Processing experience preferred.
  
• In-depthunderstanding of Quality Management Systems, specifically ISO9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 strongly preferred.
  
• Knowledgeableof the requirements affiliated with Production Part ApprovalProcess (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and FirstArticle Inspection (FAI).
  
• Familiaritywith conducting Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and providingtechnical assistance in problem resolution.
  
• Practicalexperience using a variety of software solutions consisting of butnot limited to ERPs, MRPs, CRMs, Microsoft Office, and engineeringdrafting/modeling tools.
  
• Workingknowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  
• Individualmust have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Advancedproblem solving and critical thinking skills required.
  
• Provenexperience in quantitative data analysis, measurement systems, andreporting methodologies required.
  
• Musthave technical report and procedure writing skills.
  
• Engineeringdrawing and specification interpretation skills required.
  
• Advancedcomputer literacyrequired.
