Job Description - Assistant Manager - Sales B2B - GMG

JobSummary

As an Assistant ManagerSalesyou will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturingrelationships with key retail partners to drive revenue growth andbrand presence. You will be responsible for developing andexecuting strategic sales plans negotiating agreements and ensuringthat the products are prominently displayed and effectivelymarketed within the accounts you manage. Your goal will be tomaximize sales opportunities foster longterm partnerships anduphold the brands image andvalues.


CoreResponsibilities:

  • Buildand maintain strong trusting relationships with key retailpartners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contactfor key accounts addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly andeffectively
  • Collaborate with internal teamsincluding sales marketing and product development to ensurealignment with account strategies andobjectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensivesales strategies and plans for key accounts to achieve revenuetargets and market share growth.
  • Analyze markettrends consumer behavior and competitor activities to identifyopportunities and risks.
  • Establish salesforecasts and monitor performance against targets adjustingstrategies as necessary to driveresults.
  • Identify opportunities for productassortment expansion new product launches and promotionalinitiatives within key accounts.
  • Negotiatepricing terms and promotional agreements to maximize profitabilitywhile maintaining brand integrity.
  • Conductregular business reviews with key accounts to assess performanceaddress challenges and explore growthopportunities.
  • Work closely with marketingteams to develop tailored marketing and promotional campaigns todrive sellthrough and brandawareness.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teamsto ensure optimal product placement visibility and presentationinstore and online.
  • Provide feedback on productperformance market trends and consumer preferences to inform futureproduct development and marketingefforts.
  • Communicate regularly with internalstakeholders to share insights provide updates on accountactivities and coordinate actions to support key accountobjectives.
  • Records progress of enquiries andcreates regular reports including source of business trends enquiryconversion rates future predicted sales and other reports asdirected by the sales manager
  • Advises customerson forthcoming product developments and discusses specialpromotions
  • Develops a database of qualifiedleads through referrals email and networking; identifies anddevelop new customer accounts to increasesales
  • Prepares documents related to sale andsupports contracting activities like purchase agreements contractsetc. in coordination with the Legaldepartment
  • Maintains and files all relateddocuments and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizationalstandards
  • Provides customers withclarifications answers queries provides requested information andfollowsup with customers
  • Provides accurate andtimely forecasting on a periodic basis and discusses inefficienciesrelated to the performance of the sales; prepares sales reports andsummaries on a frequent basis
  • Evaluatescustomer and is responsible for applicable background checks toensure customer falls within the Business Unitsguideline


SelfManagement:

  • Definesperformance goals at the start of the year in discussion with thereporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved duringthe course of the year
  • Takes ownership ofhis/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs inconsultation with the manager and agreeing on the individualdevelopment plan
  • Keeps abreast of professionaldevelopments new techniques and current issues through continuededucation and professionalgrowth.
