Job Description - Assistant Manager_Finance_Finance.Max.UAE_JAFZA_Max

Description

  • Assist in the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Prepare and analyze weekly sales performance and business KPIs, highlighting key trends and deviations

  • Perform P&L variance analysis at regional/store/category level and prepare actionable insights

  • Support monthly and quarterly management reporting packs with a focus on accuracy and timeliness

  • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for ongoing performance monitoring

  • Work closely with business teams on ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario planning requests

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to system enhancements

  • Ensure data integrity and adherence to internal control standards and reporting timelines



Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience

  • Strong interest in Retail or Consumer business FP&A roles

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI) is a plus

  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills to collaborate with finance and non-finance stakeholders

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Preference to rank holders and candidates who have passed in first attempt
