Job Description - Associate Fixed Field Maintenance Engineer (from India, Philippines, Nepal, Sri Lanka)

Required Skills, Experience:

Bachelor's/Diploma Degree in Engineering/Telecommunications/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 4+ years of experience in handling Fixed Network Operation & Maintenance activities including optical/electrical circuit Provision, Cessations, Re-routing & Network failures due to traffic & Hardware.
Attends assigned major/non-routine tasks related to Core, Access & Fiber Network under supervision & guidance of seniors.
To be able to use various types of test equipment to localize & rectify faults.
Perform installation of fiber optic equipment and ODF patch panels.
Experience in transmission & IP equipment's including Cisco routers, switches, SDH,DWDM, firewall etc.
Attends and clears faults reported by NOC's related transmission & Fiber network using analyzer, light source & Power meter.
ODTR testing for locating FO cable faults and during cable outages.
Support maintenance activities like acceptance testing (ATP, ACL etc.) of new FO Cables & network nodes.
