To execute the intermediary business acquisition strategies, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term partnerships with intermediaries. The role involves developing and implementing broker engagement strategies, achieving new business targets ,optimizing service delivery, and driving continuous improvement in intermediary business processes.
Core Responsibilities:
• Support in the development and implementations of department strategy according to the company strategy,
• Support the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against departmental goals
• Foster broker relationships and increase broker loyalty with the goal to become the health insurer of choice to tier 1 brokers (key/large accounts) and tier 2/3 brokers (mainly sustainable SME segment)
• Support SVP in the review of broker portfolio to weed out non-performers and enrol emerging / potential revenue generators
• Responsible of scheduling quarterly business reviews with Brokers & SVP to discuss broker portfolio & growth strategies
• Identify and target new business deals, with the goal to constantly increase hit ratio
• Responsible for achieving personal sales targets, new business and contributing to team target achievement
• Work on CRM , Sales systems, reports as per department requirements
• Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and negotiations to strengthen intermediary relations.
• Direct competitive analysis and market research efforts to improve & refine acquisition strategies and improve service offerings.
• Consistently contribute to strengthening the sales for progressive results
Preferred Educational Qualifications and Professional Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Insurance, Sales, Leadership (e.g., CII, LIMRA, LOMA), or equivalent is advantageous. Experience
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in intermediary business, business development, client retention, relationship management, or sales, with at least 2-3 years in a senior role within the health insurance or financial services industry
