Description

Responsibilities:

- Customer Service: Greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and providing friendly and efficient service throughout the transaction process.

- Cash Handling: Operating cash registers, handling cash, credit/debit card transactions, and processing payments accurately.

- POS System Operation: Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems to scan items, input prices, and generate receipts.

- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the store's products, prices, and promotions to answer customer questions and suggest complementary items.

- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the checkout area tidy, organized, and free of clutter to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.

- Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory management tasks such as restocking shelves, monitoring product levels, and reporting any discrepancies.

- Returns and Exchanges: Processing returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policies while maintaining a positive interaction with customers.

- Security: Adhering to security procedures to prevent theft and shrinkage, such as verifying cash transactions and monitoring for suspicious activity.

- Communication: Collaborating with other team members and communicating effectively with supervisors to address any issues or concerns.

- Flexibility: Being adaptable to work in different areas of the store as needed and adjusting to changing schedules or tasks.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in cash transactions, pricing, and inventory management while paying attention to detail to avoid errors.

- Time Management: Efficiently managing time to process transactions quickly while maintaining accuracy and providing excellent customer service.

This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
