Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician to set up, operate, and maintain audio and video equipment for outlets, events, meetings, and presentations. The ideal candidate will ensure a seamless audiovisual experience for clients and audiences.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and install audio and video equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, and related electronic equipment.

• Operate sound boards, adjust levels, and troubleshoot issues during events or presentations.

• Operates, maintains and repairs all audio, visual, lighting and related equipment

• Coordinate with event planners, producers, and other staff to ensure audiovisual requirements are met.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of audiovisual equipment.

• Keep abreast of new audiovisual technologies and trends in the industry.

• Work closely with the IT department to integrate audiovisual systems with the hotel’s network for streaming and conferencing capabilities.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logbooks, shop drawings, and equipment catalogues

• Assist in setting up and operating AV equipment for various events and meetings

• Be fully aware of recreation s facilities, Evening programs and shows timings - concept

• Operate projection systems, visual splitters, build truss construction, wireless microphones and setting up frequencies, use light desk, DMX addresses, programming light desk, connecting DMX splitter, managing the show.

• Having archive for hotel music (entertainment activities, night club, lobby, restaurant, bars)

Work closely with the IT department to integrate audiovisual systems with the hotel’s network for streaming and conferencing capabilities.
